Lapham’s Lone Star Ranch
Welcome to our slice of Heaven in South Texas! We started raising animals 4 years ago with a small flock of 4 Painted Desert Sheep, and have moved on to now raise primarily Kiko goats, as well as dairy goats, pigs, and cattle.
Our ranch is located in Sebastian Tx, on land that has been in my wife’s family for over 100 years. Over the last several years we have spent alot of blood, especially sweat, and tears improving the infastructure and adding back animals to this farm!
The majority of our animals are goats and cows that are raised in a rotational grazing setup. Additionaly we only use wormers or antibiotics when need to ensure we raise the healthiest of animals to breed and consume.
This ensures that our animals don’t develop resistance to wormers, and rotating them on fresh pasture helps keep their worm load to a minimum. All while helping build soil health! A win win in our books.
